JD – Manual Testing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze system specifications to understand testing requirements.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Perform manual testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discuss testing progress and resolve issues.
  • Conduct regression testing after fixes and enhancements.
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings and provide updates on testing status.
  • Assist in the development of automated testing frameworks and strategies as needed.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in manual testing of software applications.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
