Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Test Engineer with experience in network security testing and automation to validate and enhance the quality of our security products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test planning, execution, automation, and troubleshooting across networking and cybersecurity technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a strong understanding of network security technologies, product offerings, test workflows, and existing test infrastructure.

Create comprehensive test plans, design and execute test cases, and manage defects throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for functional and system testing.

Execute automated and manual test suites, analyze results, and drive defect resolution through closure.

Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency, coverage, and productivity through automation and process enhancements.

Evaluate and adopt new testing tools, technologies, and best practices to improve product quality.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

3-4 years of experience in software testing and test automation within the networking or cybersecurity domain.

Strong scripting/programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Tcl, Perl, Ruby, or Selenium-based automation frameworks .

Solid understanding of networking and security technologies, including L2/L3/L4/L7 protocols, VPN, IAM, NAC, EDR/MDR , and related security solutions.

Experience with software development and testing methodologies, including SDLC and STLC .

Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts, design principles, and test automation frameworks.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Experience working with global or geographically distributed teams is a plus.
