Textile Delivery Associate - Environmental Services - St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital

Primary Function/General Purpose of Position:

The Textile Delivery Associate works under the direct supervision of the Manager. Responsible for the replenishment of exchange carts for nursing and ancillary areas; fills and delivers orders according to daily schedules; uses handheld inventory units to generate usage info; rolls and fills scrub exchange units; picks up soiled linens and scrubs and transports to dock via pallet jack; assists drivers with loading of soiled linen onto trucks and unloading of clean linens from trucks. Processes washes/dry mops and other items as needed.

Essential Job Functions:

• •Transports clean and soiled linens.
• •Operates small commercial washer/dryer.
• •Picks up/loads soiled linen carts.
• •Operates pallet jacks.
• •Utilizes handheld inventory tracking device.
• •Maintains daily activity records.
• •Fills carts and orders.
• •Will perform duties of the Textile Team Leader, as staffing requires.

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)

Work Experience

• •One year working experience in a material handling setting (preferred)
• •General computer experience (preferred)
