Standard Fiber is looking for an experienced Quality and Compliance Supervisor to join our Atlanta-area operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands manufacturing quality, can lead and develop a team, and knows how to turn customer and quality requirements into consistent execution on the production floor.
The Quality and Compliance Supervisor will oversee day-to-day quality activities, including inspections, testing, sample review, documentation, and corrective action. This position works closely with Production and other departments to ensure products meet established specifications, customer expectations, and applicable quality and compliance requirements.
What You'll Do
Supervise, train, and provide direction to QC Inspectors.
Provide quality training and guidance to production employees.
Coordinate with Sales and Production on production samples and customer requirements.
Review target samples and oversee customer sample approvals.
Conduct and oversee inbound, sample, inline, periodic, and final inspections.
Ensure finished products meet established specifications and quality requirements.
Track and document defects using established AQL standards.
Initiate and document rework for non-conforming products.
Support implementation and maintenance of quality manuals, QMS procedures, SOPs, and testing processes.
Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
Support compliance with applicable requirements and customer vendor guidelines.
Identify recurring quality issues and opportunities for improvement.
Work directly with Production to address quality concerns and maintain established standards.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in textile quality, compliance, manufacturing quality, or a closely related environment.
Experience supervising, training, or leading quality employees.
Working knowledge of quality inspection practices, AQL standards, QMS, and SOPs.
Ability to interpret product specifications and customer quality requirements.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with Production, Sales, and other departments.
Experience with standard business applications and quality or production systems.
Bachelor's degree in quality management or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
Physical Requirements
This position works primarily in a manufacturing environment and requires prolonged periods of standing and mobility, manual dexterity for inspections and detailed work, and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. The employee must also be able to work in typical manufacturing conditions, which may include temperature variations, dust, and noise, with or without reasonable accommodation.
