Tire Delivery Driver

KD Discount Tire and Accessories is looking for a Tire Delivery Driver to join our team. At KD Discount Tire and Accessories, our environment is fast paced, organized, clean, and professional. Duties and essential job tasks:

• •Use a motor vehicle to deliver and pick up parts, supplies and equipment.
• •Pick up parts from storage.
• •Load and unload vehicle.
• •Complete delivery logs.
• •Monitor vehicle for maintenance or repair as needed; keep vehicle clean; fuel vehicle as needed.
• •Complete or assist in shipping/receiving tasks.
• •Stock parts and associated Parts tasks.
• •Additional tasks as assigned.

Working conditions & physical requirements:

• •Works indoors, outdoors and within motor vehicles for extended periods during work shift. Outdoors work is exposed to ambient heat and cold, and to sun, rain and other weather conditions.
• •May spend up to two hours per day working with PCs and video display screens.
• •May occasionally use basic mechanic hand tools.
• •Must be able to answer and complete cell phone calls with hands-free equipment while driving.
• •May spend almost entire work shift driving a vehicle.
• •Standing/walking for short distances: up to 1/2 of work shift on hard and soft surfaces.
• •Sitting: up to 3/4 of work shift.
• •Carrying/Lifting: occasionally, up to 50 pounds for up to 200 feet.
• •Bending and twisting: frequently, primarily to enter and exit vehicles and load parts.
• •Reaching above shoulder height: Occasionally, to access materials on upper shelves.
• •Hearing and speech capability adequate to converse with clients in person and by telephone.
• •Sight adequate for driving in darkness and in adverse weather conditions, ability to reading parts labeling.
