• •Schedule and coordinate transportation from Valmont and Non-Valmont locations.
• •Select carriers effectively using a Route guide to support the cost savings strategy.
• •Optimize Valmont´s logistics operations through reorganizing shipping schedules, consolidating loads, and maximizing vehicle usage to reduce costs.
• •Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, warehouse staff, and transportation providers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• •Coordinate with customs brokers, carriers and import/export department to ensure on time border crossing.
• •Maintain operational reports and TMS data accurate and updated for internal customers.
• •Use data analytics to maintain and monitor KPIs such as on time pickups and deliveries, system updates completion and operational costs.
• •Identify areas for improvement within the supply chain and recommend process enhancements.
• •Plan and execute logistics projects, ensuring timely deliveries
• •Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes and customer satisfaction.
