About this opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated skilled trailer mechanics at our Fort Wayne shop. From beginners to skilled leaders, each technician will be an integral part of keeping America’s freight moving forward through hands-on, in-depth electronic diagnostics and mechanical repairs.

Pay and Schedule

• •Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm
• •The pay range is $25-35 Per Hour depending on experience.

How will you contribute to the success of the team?

• •Always adhere all safety protocols and guidelines.
• •Communicate all findings to lead on floor such as parts being needed and other key components that require other department attention.
• •Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical systems.
• •Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and identify problems.
• •Write up on the repair order an accurate, clear, and detailed description of the cause of failure the repair procedure used.

What makes you a strong candidate for this position?

• •Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a minimum of one year experience working on diesel powered vehicles and equipment.
• •Knowledge in Diesel Mechanics, certification is a preferred.
• •Knowledge in using diagnostic programs.
• •Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• •Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• •Own basic tools.
