• •Med/Surg (6K) – Night shift
• •Medical Surgical Specialties (5K) - Day shift
• •Vascular Stepdown Intermediate Care (9K) – Day or Night shift
• •Intermediate Care Stepdown (10K) - Day or Night shift
• •Burn Trauma Intermediate Care & Med/Surg (8RP) – Day or Night shift
• •Progressive Ventilator Stepdown (PVSU) – Day or Night shift
• •Cardiac Procedural/Surgical Intermediate Care (4HH East) – Day or Night shift
• •Cardiac Advanced Heart Failure – Day or Night shift
• •General ICU - Night shift
• •Neuro ICU – Night shift
• •Burn Trauma/Vascular ICU – Day or Night shift
• •Cardiac ICU – Day or Night shift
• •Cardiac Surgical ICU – Day or Night shift
• •Emergency Department – Evening shift

Available Units & Shifts:

• •Med/Surg (5 West) – Night shift
• •Med/Surg (5 East) – Night shift
• •Intermediate Care Stepdown (4 East) – Night shift

Minimum Qualifications:

Education

Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required

Certification/Licensure

• •Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• •Basic Life Support (BLS)
• •ACLS
• •NIH Stroke Scale

Experience

Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experience (for specialty units - 2+ years recent experience in specialty)

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital , located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads, and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
