Qualifications:

Possess and maintain a valid Registered Nurse License issued by the Maryland State Board of Nursing, or a license recognized by the Compact State Agreement.

Local rule: Locals under 50 miles are not allowed. Candidates' permanent residence must be 50 miles or over from the hospital site.

Possess and maintain a valid BLS/ACLS/PALS - AHA only.

CPI Certificate - Most units will require the CPI certification as part of compliance. The Calm Every Storm online version is currently the only acceptable online vendor.

Knowledge of computer software and platforms such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Knowledge of informatics. Knowledge of health data systems, data analytics (gathering and analyzing data, designing workflows, measuring impact, managing and systems).
