Xendit is the financial technology platform built for businesses that move fast. We give companies one unified platform for payment acceptance, payouts, treasury and financial services, replacing fragmented local integrations with a single infrastructure layer. We serve businesses of every size, from high-growth startups to global enterprises, processing high-volume transactions across Southeast Asia and beyond, with more markets on our global expansion roadmap.

About the Job

We are looking for a Treasury Lead to help build and operate Xendit’s treasury function at scale.

You will work closely with the Head of Treasury and take meaningful ownership across liquidity, cash management, intercompany funding, banking infrastructure, FX, treasury controls, and financial risk.

This is a highly hands-on role. You will be expected to understand where our cash sits, where it needs to move, how it should be funded, what risks we are carrying, and where our treasury infrastructure needs to improve.

You will operate across multiple entities, currencies, banking partners and markets, often solving problems that do not have obvious or pre-existing answers.

We are looking for someone who combines strong treasury fundamentals with judgment, pace and a bias toward action.

Someone who can operate in detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.

What You’ll Own

Liquidity and Cash

You will help ensure Xendit has the right amount of liquidity, in the right entity, in the right currency, at the right time.

Own daily and medium-term visibility over Group cash and liquidity.

Manage cash positioning and funding requirements across multiple entities and markets.

Build and continuously improve cash forecasting.

Identify trapped, idle or inefficiently deployed cash and develop solutions to optimize it.

Help define appropriate liquidity buffers and escalation frameworks.

Improve the quality, speed and reliability of treasury reporting.

The goal is simple: we should always know where our cash is, what we need, and what action we need to take next.

Intercompany Funding

As Xendit grows across markets, moving capital efficiently between entities becomes increasingly important.

Manage intercompany loans, settlements, repayments and interest calculations.

Coordinate funding requirements across Group entities.

Maintain clear documentation and controls around intercompany balances.

Work closely with Tax, Legal, Accounting and Finance to ensure funding structures are appropriate and properly executed.

Help develop more scalable approaches to intercompany funding as the Group becomes larger and more complex.

Identify friction, inefficiency or risk in the way capital moves across the organization and fix it.

We expect you to understand both the mechanics and the commercial implications of how capital flows through the Group.

Banking Infrastructure & Relationships

Our banking infrastructure is critical infrastructure.

You will work closely with Xendit’s Financial Partnerships team to ensure our banking relationships support both our treasury needs and the broader strategic needs of the business.

Treasury and Financial Partnerships will bring different but complementary perspectives: Treasury will focus on liquidity, funding, cash management, risk and operational requirements, while Financial Partnerships will help manage the broader strategic relationship with our banking and financial institution partners.

Partner closely with Financial Partnerships on relationships with Xendit’s banks and financial institutions.

Represent Treasury’s requirements and priorities in discussions with banking partners.

Coordinate with Financial Partnerships on bank selection, account structures, liquidity solutions, credit facilities, FX capabilities and other treasury products.

Own or support bank account openings, closures, mandates, signatories and user access.

Improve how accounts are structured and used across the Group.

Ensure appropriate controls exist around treasury payments and banking access.

Resolve operational issues quickly when money needs to move.

Evaluate opportunities to improve our banking stack, connectivity and automation.

Ensure Treasury and Financial Partnerships maintain clear alignment on ownership, priorities and engagement with banking partners.

You should be comfortable working across functions and understand that managing a strategic banking relationship requires coordination, transparency and a unified Xendit approach.

FX and Financial Risk

Operating across multiple markets means operating across multiple currencies.

Monitor Xendit’s FX exposures.

Support execution of FX transactions and hedging strategies where appropriate.

Identify material transactional and balance-sheet exposures.

Help develop frameworks for managing currency risk.

Monitor counterparty and concentration risks across banks and financial institutions.

Support evaluation of deposits, credit facilities and other treasury products as Xendit’s needs evolve.

We are not looking for someone who simply reports risk. We want someone who understands it, communicates it clearly and helps us decide what to do about it.

Controls and Governance

Payments companies must move quickly without losing control.

Maintain strong controls around liquidity, payments, banking access and treasury transactions.

Help develop and improve treasury policies and operating procedures.

Partner with Accounting, Risk, Compliance, Tax, Legal and Internal Audit.

Ensure treasury activity is properly reconciled, documented and reflected in financial reporting.

Identify weaknesses in existing processes and proactively improve them.

Good treasury operations should make the company faster and safer at the same time.

Build the Function

This role is not just about operating what already exists. You will help build what comes next.

Automating treasury workflows.

Improving cash forecasting models.

Building treasury dashboards and management reporting.

Standardizing processes across markets.

Improving bank connectivity and payment workflows.

Evaluating treasury management systems and tooling.

Designing better ways to manage liquidity across entities and currencies.

Developing new controls as the company scales.

How can we make this simpler, faster, more scalable and more reliable?

What We’re Looking For

We care more about capability than titles, but you will likely have around 6–9 years of relevant experience across corporate treasury, banking, payments, fintech or another complex multinational environment.

You should have:

Strong hands-on experience with cash and liquidity management.

Experience building or operating cash forecasting processes.

Practical experience with intercompany loans and cross-entity funding.

Experience managing multiple bank accounts, banks and currencies.

A strong understanding of FX and treasury risk.

Good knowledge of treasury controls and financial governance.

Experience working across multiple legal entities or jurisdictions.

Strong cross-functional skills and experience partnering with teams that manage broader banking or financial institution relationships.

Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.

The ability to independently diagnose and solve complex problems.

The confidence to challenge existing processes when there is a better way.

Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex treasury issues simply.

Most importantly, you should be someone who takes ownership. When there is a problem, you do not wait for someone else to solve it.

You’ll Thrive Here If

You enjoy environments where:

The business is growing quickly.

Problems are not always neatly defined.

The answer is not always written in a policy document.

You are expected to think independently.

You can move from strategy to e
