Key accountabilities

  • 1. Execution of a local trial plan.
  • 2. Planning and organization of screening trials in cooperation with Breeding and Sales, including selection of external screening locations and organization of seed samples.
  • 3. Administration, collection and evaluation of trial data in Enza Zaden administration systems and formats.
  • 4. Responsible for following the relevant protocols of the 3rd parties in order to guarantee local quality and phytosanitary compliance of the trials.
  • 5. Timely reporting of results of research and commercial variety trials to various stakeholders within the Commercial and Breeding organization.

Main internal contacts

* Breeding teams, Supply Chain team - Obtain seeds for external trials. Exchange information, align on trial locations, report results of trials.

* Sales team - Exchange information, align on growers, report results of trials

Minimum working and thinking level

Advanced secondary vocational level (MBO+, Associate's degree)

Minimum years of relevant work experience

3 to 5 years

Required certifications, knowledge and skills

  • * Knowledge of the assigned crop
  • * Affinity with crop cultivation
  • * Affinity with growers
  • * Computer skills
  • * Proficient in the local language, both written and verbal

*Basic knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal

*Mandarin language is an added value

Working conditions

  • * Occasionally working under pressure
  • * Frequent domestic and sometimes international business traveling
