Summary of Job Duties:

• •Possess the ability to work well with students
• •Tutor in English composition I and II and Literature
• •Ability to provide personalized attention in the areas of writing, grammar, proper citation and utilizing references for general writing skills.
• •Assist in topics using time management, goalsetting, learning styles, blackboard, Library resources.
• •Assist and conduct class pre- and post- assessments.
• •Help maintain cleanliness of the tutor lab to meet CDC Guidelines before and after class.
• •Document students individual progress maintain student attendance records.
• •Contact supervisor in advance when unable to come in for work.
• •Perform other Duties as requested.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in education, math or related field-Masters preferred

Two or more years teaching on the college level-preferred

Experience developing curriculum-preferred

Demonstrate the ability to use basic computer programs that are applicable in a college setting.
