Truck & Trailer Technician 1st shift or 2nd shift: Monday - Friday shift available! $25-$32/hr (based on experience)

What are the Duties?

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• •Truck & Trailer repair experience required
• •Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on truck trailers
• •Experience with repairs including brakes, air system, lighting, landing gears, and doors
• •Needs to be able to do major body work including panel replacement and bottom/top rail repairs.
• •Diesel experience helpful
• •Must be able to work independently and safely
• •CDL is preferred
• •Ability to be a dependable team player
• •Major shop tools and diagnostic equipment is provided

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• •While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
• •The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• •The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
• •Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions
• •The associate must be able to read and write reports.
• •Must be able to obtain DOT medcard

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• •Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.
• •No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI).
• •Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• •Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) a plus
