Truck Driver - Local - Home Every Night

HOME EVERY NIGHT!

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• •Check stock inventory physically and update into system to validate that restocking is in order.
• •Drives truck to and from warehouses
• •Loads and unloads finished goods and packaging
• •Receives incoming raw materials and draws samples (see also Incoming Inspection and Testing Procedure)
• •Moves bulk supplied raw materials from railcars to silo storage
• •Performs duties in accordance with the Handling, Storage QOP
• •Properly stores and keeps records of regrind and globs
• •Assists in Production Department when needed
• •Performs other duties required by the QMS, as assigned
• •Conducts duties according to plant safety policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

• •Minimum high school education, or equivalent, and 2 to 5 years related experience
• •CDL A driver’s license, no restrictions
• •Minimum of 1 year experience transporting, hooking up/ off a 53’ box trailer
• •Understanding of plant safety rules and regulations, particularly the Hazard Communication program
• •Computer skills
• •Current fork truck certification

Physical Requirements:

• •Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50lbs
• •Ability to work in 100 degree environment (summer months)
