We are searching for a new member of the Meijer family to deliver a quality customer experience as a Truck Unloader at our Sussex location!

As a Truck Unloader, you will provide product suggestions and assist customers while you provide our customers with exceptional customer service. You will assist with backroom procedures; you will stock the salesfloor and ensure that our customers have a variety of high-quality items to choose from.

• Part- Time opportunities available in the following department:
• Grocery Receiving

Shifts available from 1:00 PM - 10:00PM Sunday - Saturday

CURRENT OR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH FORKLIFTS, POWERED JACKS, POWERED EQUIPMENT. EXPERIENCE IN WAREHOUSE, PRODUCTION, OR FOOD SERVICE A PLUS!

What will you be doing?

• •Build rapport with customers.
• •Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
• •Respond to customer questions in an effective manner.
• •Utilize forklifts and other powered equipment
• •Unload all trucks efficiently and completely
• •Prepare the backroom area for truck delivery
• •Sort totes and boxes by department
• •Stock product and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards.
• •Working backstock to inventory
• •Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
• •Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.
• •This position is applicable to the following department: Grocery Receiving

• •Must be 18 years of age or older.
