Tuning & Repair Technician - WINTER

Description

Training for this position starts in November and work starts once the snow flies!

Sell and perform tuning services, maintain rental equipment under guidance of Tuning and Repair Supervisor. Function as Rental Technician during peak times.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• •Assist customers with tuning and repair needs as well as provide education and diagnosis with a high degree of customer service.
• •Properly use and maintain necessary machinery and equipment.
• •Work on all indemnified ski bindings. Perform pre-season/in-season testing under direction of Tuning and Repair Supervisor.
• •Maintain and repair rental equipment.
• •Maintain a safe and clean Rental & Repair Shop environment.
• •Open, close and operate register according to proper procedures.
• •Perform daily assignments with accuracy.
• •Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace.
• •Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
• •Regular and reliable attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• •Must have service oriented personality.
• •Prior ski tuning experience desired.
• •Must be able to multi-task.
• •Must be detail oriented with the ability to set and meet high customer service standards.
• •Must have detailed knowledge of all procedures and operations involved in equipment rental and tuning.
• •Must have current knowledge on operation and construction of ski and snowboard equipment.
• •Must become certified and competent in working on all indemnified ski bindings.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• •Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• •Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling.
• •Must be able to work in tight space with balance.
• •Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time.
• •Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position.
