The Opportunity

We’re looking for a curious and motivated Graduate UIUX Designer to join our product team and work alongside an experienced Senior UIUX Designer on a real-world product design project.

You will focus primarily on the Valuation Order Management Dashboard , exploring opportunities to improve how valuation professionals create, view and manage valuation orders and related jobs.

Working closely with an experienced Product Designer and the wider Product and Engineering teams, the graduate will investigate existing workflows, identify usability and interaction challenges, and develop and validate design solutions for a modernised valuation order management experience.

The project will involve the full UX design process, including discovery, user research, interaction design, prototyping, usability testing and design validation. The graduate will work within Valocity's Quantum Design System and contribute designs that are consistent, scalable and ready for engineering implementation.

Alongside the primary project, the graduate may also support broader UX and product design activities across the team, providing exposure to a range of real-world product design challenges.

What You'll Do

Working closely with an experienced UIUX Designer and the wider product team, you will:

Analyse existing dashboard experiences and identify opportunities for improvement

Translate research findings into user flows, wireframes and interaction concepts

Create prototypes in Figma and iterate based on feedback

Maintain and evolve the Design System, ensuring design components and patterns remain aligned with the live product

Keep the Figma Design System and the live product in sync, identifying and addressing inconsistencies where appropriate

Use feedback and evidence to evaluate and refine design solutions

Present research, design decisions and recommendations to product and engineering stakeholders

Document research findings, design decisions and project outcomes

Contribute to broader UX and product design initiatives when appropriate

Use AI tools to support research, analysis and design activities, while exploring new ways to integrate AI into the design process.

What We're Looking For

You don't need years of professional experience. We're looking for someone with a strong foundation in design who is curious, willing to learn and excited about solving complex problems.

You might have:

Recently completed, or be close to completing, a degree in UX Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, HCI, Design or a related field

A good understanding of user-centred design principles

Experience using Figma or similar design tools

An understanding of design systems and how to use components and patterns consistently

An interest in UX research and usability testing

Strong attention to detail and a willingness to iterate

An understanding of how AI can assist with design research, ideation, prototyping, content creation or workflow improvement

A willingness to learn how to use AI thoughtfully, responsibly and effectively in a design context

Good communication and collaboration skills

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is curious, thoughtful and comfortable exploring problems where the answer isn't immediately obvious.
