Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Inpatient (Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital) and Outpatient (Various facilities through the Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, King George and Stafford areas)

Job Type: Full Time, Part Time and PRN

Relocation Assistance: Offered 50+ Miles from Fredericksburg for Full Time

Inpatient Compensation Pay Range:

PRN Flat Rate: $51.00

$41.-41-$62.11

Outpatient Compensation Pay Range:

PRN Flat Rate: $51.00

$39.44-$59.15

Ultrasound Technologist (Inpatient) Requirements:

• •Completion of accredited program in ultrasound
• •ARDMS (AB or OB/GYN or VT) or ARRT (S) required at time of hire. If not ARDMS (OB/GYN) registered at time of hire, registry required within twelve months of hire with the first attempt to pass the OB/GYN registry within six months of hire.
• •American Heart Association CPR required

Ultrasound Technologist (Outpatient) Requirements:

• •Completion of accredited program in ultrasound
• •ARDMS (AB or OB/GYN or RVT) or ARRT (S) required:
• •If not ARDMS (OB/GYN) registered at time of hire, registry required within six months of hire.
• •If not ARDMS (RVT) registered at time of hire, registry required within 12 months of hire.
• •American Heart Association CPR required

Ultrasound Technologist (Outpatient) Women’s Requirements:

• •Completion of accredited program in ultrasound
• •ARDMS (AB or OB/GYN or RVT) or ARRT (S) required:
• •If not ARDMS (OB/GYN) registered at time of hire, registry required within six months of hire.
• •If not ARDMS (BR) registered at time of hire, registry required within 12 months of hire.
• •If not ARDMS (RVT) registered at time of hire, registry required within 24 months of hire.
• •American Heart Association CPR required

Environmental Requirements and Exposure Hazards: Risk of exposure to radiation and toxic chemicals. Potential for exposure to bloodborne pathogens; must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

For MRI Associates: Must complete MRI Associate screening and be approved to work in the MRI environment (Zones 3 & 4) at all times.
