In this role, the registered Ultrasound Tech will perform ultrasound examinations. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, select proper transducer and adjustment of equipment according to the needs required for proper diagnostic testing, & ensure adherence to safety standards. This role will ensure the continued effective operation and patient care services in key departments.

This is a part time position, providing General ultrasound services.

This is a part-time position, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist, working Saturday and Sunday from 4:00pm - 12:00am.

Required Criteria:

• •High School Diploma or equivalent
• •Graduate from an accredited program in ultrasound technology
• •Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)
• •BCLS from AHA
• •Demonstrated experience in patient care with training in Ultrasound
• •If working in the Diagnostic Imaging Center, must have at least 3 years of direct ultrasound experience post training in General Sonography (ie Abdominal, Pelvic, Small Part) and Doppler interrogation (ie upper abdomen, female and male reproductive system) experience
