Summary
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D3021000 and is part of the IL 126, National Guard.
Duties
As a UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR (TITLE 32), GS-0303-5/6/7, you will assist the lead CSS in managing daily administrative and unit-level support, execute assigned programs in line with the Personnel Services Delivery Guide (PSDG) and support training of personnel to maintain mission readiness and compliance with Air Force policies. Major Duties - This is NOT an all-inclusive list: Serve as a program analyst with responsibility for a variety of management and program analysis functions. Gather and analyze a variety of program data, prepares and presents analytical summaries, and makes recommendations for action based on findings. Develop, analyze, and advise on the effectiveness of work methods and procedures. Prepare detailed plans, justifications, and schedules for the conduct of studies. Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents on study findings and recommendations. Prepare and deliver briefings to senior management on study findings and recommendations.. Utilize a variety of software applications and automated systems to track, analyze, and report on program data.
Qualifications
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: The areas of consideration for this position, Title 32 Excepted Service (32 U.S. Code § 709), will be in the following manner and sequence: The FIRST area of consideration for this position will be all excepted permanent and indefinite temporary technicians within the ILNG. The SECOND area of consideration will be all current Federal Employees. The THIRD area of consideration will be all Federal re-employment eligible. The FOURTH area of consideration will be applicants willing to become T32 Dual Status Technicians and gain ILNG membership. The FIFTH area of consideration will be U.S. Citizens Military Grades: Enlisted - NTE E-5 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-07 LEVEL - MUST possess the experience, education, or training, which includes 1 year at the lower-level GS-06, integrating multiple aspects of personnel management and administrative support, requiring attention to detail and coordination across stakeholders. GS-06 LEVEL - MUST possess the experience, education, or training, which includes 1 year at the lower-level GS-05, as well as independently planning and executing tasks relates to personnel management and administrative support. GS-05 LEVEL - MUST possess the experience, education, or training, which includes knowledge of personnel management policies, administrative procedures, and automated systems such as Defense Travel System (DTS). Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Verbiage displayed on your resume or application must contain your own words.
