Position: Urgent Care Staff Physician

Location: Bakersfield, CA

1099: Full-time, Part-time, & PRN Available

Salary: $150/hour

Bonus: $100,000 Sign-On for Full-Time Only

Stipend: $60,000/year for Medical Directorship

Job Overview: We are hiring a Staff Urgent Care Physician with the Advancement of a Medical Directorship in Bakersfield, CA.

Essential Responsibilities:

• •Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
• •Full-time is 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts per month, and managing 4 mid-level providers.
• •Part-time will be a minimum of 6 shifts per month and managing up to 4 mid-level providers.
• •Treat 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care), in a low-acuity setting.
• •Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
• •Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray.
• •All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
• •Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation and document all patients in one minute

Requirements

Minimum Requirements | Qualifications:

• •Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.)
• •Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program
• •Truly Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• •CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
• •DEA Certificate
