Position Summary :

The Application Engineer provides comprehensive sales and technical support for both original equipment and after-market products leveraging technical, organizational, and customer knowledge, the role supports domestic, international, and inter-company sales efforts by influencing customers and assisting them in applying Facet's products and services to their needs. The ideal candidate will design and propose technical equipment solutions that align with clients' technical requirements, international standards, and Facet's legacy of technical excellence, ensuring ideal user solutions.

Role Responsibilities:

• •Analyze EPC or refinery specifications to size and design equipment, determine material requirements, and assess the cost implications and develop and present detailed quotations that highlight the value and competitive edge of Facet equipment.
• •Interpret and apply industry standards (ASME, ISO, API, SAE, EI, etc.), customer specifications, and project requirements.
• •Prepare accurate cost estimates and maintain a systematic approach to quote and project files.
• •Collaborate with manufacturing vendors to ensure precise cost details, utilize and maintain Salesforce for managing quotes, opportunities, and sales data in collaboration with the sales team.
• •Support Regional Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, and Customer Service teams with technical expertise stay updated on all products within Facet's portfolio and modify existing designs for new applications.
• •Determine optimal equipment sizing based on customer applications and specifications.
• •Promote and suggest methods for increasing sales of Facet products to customers and distributors provide technical support to distributors, engineering firms, and end-users.
• •Interface with production planning and drafting teams to deliver accurate lead times and project schedules.
• •Ensure timely and professional responses to both internal and external stakeholders, maintain and improve margins for capital equipment sales by implementing innovative and cost-effective solutions explore new opportunities and contribute to Facet's growth by promoting technical solutions to enhance customer value.

Travel: up to 50%

Minimum Qualifications :

• •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field OR equivalent work experience
• •5+ years of applied industry experience, with expertise in pressure vessels, piping, and the design/manufacture of pressure equipment.
• •Experience in the marine and/or power generation industry
• •Familiarity with filtration and separation processes

Preferred Qualifications :

• •Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software.
• •Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes involving metals, piping, fittings, and materials.
• •Strong project management skills with a focus on multi-tasking and prioritization.
