South Dayton Toyota is looking for Experienced Used Car Technicians to join our busy reconditioning department and provide quality service, with the ability to diagnose and repair different makes and models right the first time. We value skilled, independent technicians who take pride in their work and don’t need unnecessary oversight—and we want you on our team.

Compensation:

• •$22–$35 per flat-rate hour based on skill set, experience, and qualifications
• •Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus | Eligibility based on ASE certification level accreditation and/or proven manufacturer training and certification levels
• •Eligible sign-on bonus payments begin after 90 days of employment
• •Sign-on bonus is paid at $1,000 per month until the eligible bonus amount is reached

Requirements

Responsibilities

• •Inspect and diagnose used vehicles for mechanical and electrical issues
• •Perform maintenance and repair work
• •Replace faulty or worn components
• •Ensure vehicles meet safety and quality standards
• •Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and proper operation
• •Accurately document all work performed
• •Communicate repair findings and recommendations to service advisors
• •Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

• •High school diploma or equivalent
• •3+ years of automotive repair experience
• •Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• •Solid knowledge of automotive systems, equipment, and tools
• •Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• •Strong attention to detail
• •Good communication skills
• •Ability to work independently and efficiently
