UV CIPP Superintendent

Description

US Infra Rehab Services is seeking an experienced, safety-driven UV CIPP Superintendent to lead field crews on ultraviolet-cured cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation projects. This role is responsible for planning and executing quality installations, leading daily field operations, maintaining equipment readiness, and ensuring each project is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements.

Job Description

• •Lead, supervise, and coordinate crews performing UV CIPP and related trenchless rehabilitation work.
• •Plan daily work with the Project Manager, including crew assignments, equipment needs, sequencing, production goals, site logistics, and material requirements.
• •Direct all phases of UV CIPP installation, including site setup, liner preparation, pull-in, UV curing, finishing, testing/inspection support, and cleanup.
• •Ensure work is performed in accordance with approved submittals, project specifications, manufacturer procedures, traffic-control plans, company work instructions, and applicable regulations.
• •Maintain a strong safety culture; conduct daily safety planning, verify PPE and equipment readiness, and address unsafe conditions immediately.
• •Monitor production, quality, labor hours, and material usage; submit accurate daily reports, crew time, production records, and equipment or maintenance needs.
• •Coordinate with project management, owners, inspectors, subcontractors, and other site stakeholders to resolve field issues and keep work progressing.
• •Train, coach, and develop Foremen, Technicians, and Laborers; hold team members accountable for workmanship, safety, and professionalism.
• •Diagnose and coordinate repair of field equipment issues, working with Operations and Fleet as needed.
• •Maintain an organized, clean, and secure jobsite and ensure tools, vehicles, and equipment are properly used and maintained.

Requirements

• •Five or more years of construction, utility, wastewater, trenchless, or CIPP field experience, including supervisory experience.
• •Demonstrated experience installing CIPP liners; hands-on UV CIPP experience strongly preferred.
• •Proven experience leading CIPP installations in pipe sizes ranging from approximately 8 to 48 inches or larger; experience supervising installation of 10,000 or more linear feet of CIPP liner is strongly preferred.
• •Strong understanding of sanitary sewer and stormwater collection systems, construction safety, equipment operation, and quality control.
• •Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical, hydraulic, CCTV, reinstatement, sewer cleaning, bypass-pumping, or traffic-control experience is a plus.
• •Proven ability to lead crews, manage changing field conditions, communicate clearly, and keep projects on schedule.
• •Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required. CDL with applicable endorsements, or ability to obtain one, is preferred.
• •This role includes approximately 80% travel to project sites. Travel schedules vary by project, and overtime, night, or weekend work may be needed to support safe, successful installations.
• •Ability to physically perform field work when needed, including lifting up to 75 pounds and working outdoors in changing weather and active construction conditions.
• •High school diploma or GED required; additional trade, technical, or safety training is preferred.
• •OSHA 10 or OSHA 30, confined-space, traffic-control, first aid/CPR, CDL, or related trenchless certifications are preferred.
• •Experience with UV curing equipment, CCTV systems, remote cutting/reinstatement equipment, and construction documentation is preferred.
