Internship Summary: We are actively hiring for a User Experience Design Intern! This summer, we are looking for motivated individuals looking to begin a career in the UX field to support our Digital UX team. As a UX Design Intern, you’ll be involved from discovery, through the entire product design, research and development lifecycle. You’ll gain the ability to find the ideal balance of user goals and business objectives that result in a simple, yet effective and thoughtful user experience.

CSAA Internship Program: As an intern, you will participate in an 11-week summer internship experience with an emphasis on hands-on learning and real-world immersion into our business. Our interns participate in professional development and job-specific training and plenty of networking opportunities to gain deep understanding of their role and department while also broadening their knowledge of CSAA’s business. We offer an Intern Innovation Challenge, executive meet and greets, community service opportunities, and social bonding activities to help you stay connected.

Internship Details: The anticipated dates of our 2027 summer internship will be May 24-August 6. This role can be either remote or hybrid based out of our Phoenix, AZ. The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $29.50.

Essential responsibilities

• •Design products using the user centered design process while learning to understand and communicate the story behind the research.
• •Work alongside designer(s) daily on wireframes, prototypes and visual design.
• •Gain exposure to industry tools such as Figma, Adobe, and various research tools.
• •Learn the importance of branding and consistently designed products through working with our Design System.
• •Build presentation skills by participating in weekly design review meetings with the UX team, engineering team, and business leaders.

Ideal Qualifications

• •Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Design, User Experience Design, or related field.
• •Rising juniors and seniors ideally graduating December 2027 or May 2028.
• •Interested to begin a career in user experience design or the digital IT space.
• •Strong eye for design, analytical skills with an interest in research.
• •Familiar with or an eagerness to gain skills using design and research tools such as Figma, Adobe, Lookback and Jira.
• •Self-motivated and results-oriented professional with a strong written or verbal communication skill.
• •Must have authorization to work indefinitely in the US.
