We are looking for a user-centric UX Designer who can translate user needs and business objectives into intuitive, engaging, and effective digital experiences. You will contribute across the design process, from research and problem definition to user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.

The ideal candidate combines strong UX thinking and problem-solving skills with visual design expertise. You should be comfortable collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams, challenging assumptions, and explaining design decisions with a clear rationale.

Responsibilities

Understand user needs, behaviours, and business goals to inform design decisions.

Conduct or support user research, usability testing, and desk research to identify pain points and opportunities.

Create user journeys, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.

Design intuitive, accessible, and responsive digital experiences across desktop and mobile.

Translate UX concepts into polished interfaces aligned with client brand guidelines and usability principles.

Build, maintain, and evolve design systems, component libraries, and style guides using Figma.

Evaluate existing experiences, identify usability issues, and recommend actionable improvements.

Collaborate with developers, product teams, and client stakeholders to deliver feasible, user-focused solutions.

Present design concepts and clearly articulate design rationale, balancing user needs with business objectives.

Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining quality and meeting timelines.

Requirements

Must Have

Approximately 8+ years of experience in UX/UI design, digital product design, or a related field.

A strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, problem-solving, design process, and final outcomes.

Proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, component libraries, and design system creation and management.

Strong understanding of user-centred design, interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles.

Experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.

Knowledge of responsive design, mobile-first principles, accessibility, and visual design fundamentals.

Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and incorporate feedback constructively.

Nice to Have

Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and synthesising insights into design recommendations.

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Familiarity with agile product development and developer handoff processes.

Experience using AI tools to enhance design workflows and output.

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.

What the Candidate Brings

UX Thinking: Ability to understand user problems and develop thoughtful, research-informed design solutions.

Strong Portfolio: Demonstrates the design process, rationale, iterations, and outcomes, not just polished screens.

Problem-Solving: Ability to evaluate experiences, identify usability gaps, and recommend meaningful improvements.

Design Excellence: Strong command of interaction design, typography, visual hierarchy, accessibility, and usability.

Design Systems: Experience building and maintaining consistent, scalable component libraries and design systems.

Collaboration & Communication: Confidence presenting ideas, engaging with clients, and working effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ownership & Attention to Detail: Ability to manage priorities, exercise sound design judgement, and deliver high-quality work within timelines.

Curiosity & Adaptability: Willingness to explore emerging design methodologies, technologies, and AI-powered tools.
