A VetTech Electrical / Electronics Intern provides routine technical support for assigned area; typically, an experiment or support group. Depending on the assigned area, fabricates, operates, tests, repairs, and/or modifies a variety of electronic equipment, systems and devices. Tasks are accomplished under direct supervision of a Fermilab employee and in cooperation with project teams, scientists, engineers, and support personnel and in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Internship Details
- Program Dates: June 14, 2027 – August 6, 2027
- Application Dates: October 5, 2026 – January 13, 2027
- Offer Date: March 2, 2027
- Acceptance Date: March 8, 2027
- Salary: $20.00 per hour
- Housing: A housing stipend is available for eligible interns
- Transportation: Reimbursement for one round trip domestic flight or mileage reimbursement at the allowable rate for eligible interns
- Location: Internship is in-person onsite in Batavia, IL & Fermilab Installations

Complete a 10-week program under the supervision of Fermilab employee
