Valve Technician

Description

Tri-Stave Valve is looking for an experienced Valve Technician to help support both customer and shop operations.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• •Disassemble Relief Valves
• •Sandblast
• •Inspection
• •Machining
• •Re-Assembly
• •Testing
• •Tagging and Packaging

Work Environment:

• •regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts;
• •work in high, precarious places;
• •outdoor weather conditions; and outdoor weather conditions.
• •exposed to wet or humid conditions (nonweather);fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; and vibration.
• •The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.

Education/Experience:

• •High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• •or 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
