About the role:

T he Vendor Marketing Manager is a senior marketing role responsible for the strategic planning, development, execution and optimisation of marketing initiatives across a portfolio of strategic technology vendors. The role drives demand generation, pipeline growth and revenue opportunities through integrated, data-driven marketing programmes aligned to both vendor priorities and Ingram Micro business objectives . Working closely with Vendor Business Managers, sales teams, vendors and channel partners, the Vendor Marketing Manager proactively identifies growth opportunities and delivers exceptional marketing outcomes that strengthen Ingram Micro's market presence and commercial success.

Responsibilities & Supporting Actions

Vendor Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and deliver quarterly marketing plans aligned with vendor and Ingram Micro objectives.
  • Define go-to-market strategies to support revenue growth and market share.
  • Identify strategic growth opportunities within assigned vendor portfolios.
  • Ensure plans are documented, communicated, implemented and regularly reviewed.
  • Align local initiatives with regional and global marketing programmes where appropriate.
  • Act as a trusted marketing advisor, providing strategic recommendations and market insights.

Demand Generation & Campaign Execution

  • Create and execute integrated multi-touch campaigns to drive awareness, engagement and lead generation.
  • Deliver programmes across digital, email, social media, webinars, events and partner channels, promoting Ingram Micro’s Xvantage platform.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and creative, data and digital teams for timely, high-quality campaign execution.
  • Present marketing plans, results and recommendations during QBRs and vendor meetings.

Data & Performance Optimisation

  • Use Power BI, Google Analytics and internal reporting tools to define target audiences and campaign strategies.
  • Analyse customer, product and revenue data to support marketing decisions.
  • Measure and optimise campaign performance to maximise engagement, lead generation and ROI.
  • Report on campaign performance, pipeline contribution and marketing ROI.
  • Develop insights and recommendations to improve future campaigns.

MDF & Budget Management

  • Manage vendor marketing budgets and Market Development Funds (MDF) in line with requirements and business objectives.
  • Ensure effective budget utilisation and maintain accurate financial tracking and forecasts.
  • Ensure claim documentation and reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor budget performance and recommend investment strategies to improve results.

Vendor & Sales Alignment

  • Partner with Vendor Business Managers and sales teams to support strategic priorities and revenue targets.
  • Align marketing initiatives with sales opportunities and key growth areas.
  • Communicate campaign objectives, timelines and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Support sales enablement through campaign materials, messaging and lead generation initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with vendor marketing teams, sales stakeholders and partner organisations.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of vendor portfolios, partner tiers, programmes and priorities.
  • Align vendor marketing objectives with partner and channel growth opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
  • Experience in a B2B environment within the ICT industry.
  • Experience working within a vendor, reseller or channel environment is highly preferred.
  • Experience with marketing automation, analytics and creative platforms.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills to effectively engage customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to articulate and present complex ideas simply and effectively.
  • High level of business acumen.
