What you will be doing:

The IPE team is responsible for bringing the patients’ perspective into Vertex’s work by establishing meaningful collaborations with patient communities at in-country and above-country level. IPE works across the whole lifecycle of therapies and medicines developed by Vertex. By joining IPE, you will learn how Vertex engages externally and how such engagement shapes decisions across the whole lifecycle of Vertex’s medicines and therapies, from early research to post-marketing.

During your Summer Internship you will get the opportunity to learn about our industry from a hands-on perspective. You will be working closely with and learning from some of the brightest people in the industry. Interns can expect to be challenged by their work, connect with other students, and feel valued by the Vertex community.

What you will need to succeed:

• •Currently undertaking studies in a scientific or business-related discipline
• •Strong interest and fundamental understanding of what Patient
• •Engagement delivers in the biotech industry
• •Must be independently motivated and a strong team player
• •Demonstrates problem solving skills
• •Good written, communication, project management and presentation skills
• •Evidence of ability to meet deadlines
• •You must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week from 24th May to 30th July
