Veterinarian – Mixed Animal Practice

Wewoka Animal Hospital is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join our team!

If you love the variety of mixed animal medicine and want the opportunity to build a caseload around your interests, we'd love to meet you. At Wewoka, you'll provide high-quality, personalized care to companion animals, equine patients, livestock, and the occasional exotic—all while serving a close-knit Oklahoma community.

Big-city standards of medicine. Small-town roots and personalized care.

Compensation & Schedule:

Total earning potential is up to YOU – up to $140,000 (ProSal)

Sign-on Bonus and/or relocation assistance available

Schedule: full-time (3-4 days per week including rotating Saturdays)

Hours of Operation:

Monday through Friday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm

Saturday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Sunday: Closed

Dr. Nenninger is an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about mentorship and has a particular interest in advanced soft tissue surgery, including orthopedic & TPLO procedures. We're committed to helping our veterinarians continue to grow through hands-on mentorship, collaborative case discussions, and ongoing professional development. Whether you're building confidence in mixed animal medicine, expanding your surgical skills, or developing a particular area of interest, you'll have experienced colleagues supporting you along the way

Requirements / Qualifications:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college

Active Oklahoma veterinary license in good standing (or ability to obtain)

Current DEA and OK BNDD License (or ability to obtain)

Mixed animal experience or an interest in and willingness to work with both small and large animals

New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply
