Associate Veterinarian (DVM) | Rowland Veterinary Services | Eastern Tennessee
Four-Day Work Week | No Weekends, On-Call, or Emergency Hours
Rowland Veterinary Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our established mixed animal veterinary practice in New Tazewell, Tennessee.
This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine, building strong client relationships, and working alongside an experienced, collaborative team. Whether you're a recent graduate seeking mentorship or an experienced veterinarian looking for a positive, team-oriented environment, you'll find a supportive home here.
What You'll Be Doing
Deliver compassionate, client-focused medical and surgical care
Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in companion animals
Collaborate with fellow veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care
Participate in case discussions and ongoing professional development
Build trusted client relationships through education and communication
Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital standards of care
Support wellness, preventive care, and long-term patient health
Schedule
4 day schedule
No weekends
No on-call responsibilities
No after-hours emergencies

What We're Looking For
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Tennessee
Passion for client education and preventive medicine
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
Interest in mentoring and supporting fellow team members is a plus
What We Offer
Up to $135,000 Base Salary (varies based on qualifications/experience)
Quarterly production bonus with no negative accrual.

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location. You will be provided more detailed information about compensation and benefits for your specific location. Where required under applicable law, the company provides eligible employees with paid sick leave, health emergency leave, and similar benefits programs, all in accordance with the requirements of state and local law depending on the location of the practice you support.
