Build a Thriving Dental Service in One of Northern California's Premier Specialty Hospitals

Pet Emergency & Specialty Center of Marin (PESCM) is seeking a full-time Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Dental Specialist to lead and grow our dental service within one of Northern California's highly respected, growing 24-hour specialty and emergency hospital.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate veterinary dental specialist who is excited not only to practice advanced dentistry and oral surgery, but also to help shape the future of a thriving service in a collaborative, specialty-driven environment. You'll join a highly skilled team of specialists and emergency clinicians dedicated to exceptional patient care, clinical excellence, and continuous learning.

About Us :

The Pet Emergency and Specialty Center of Marin (PESCM) is part of the Veritas Veterinary Partners network of emergency and specialty hospitals. PESCM is the only emergency and specialty hospital in Marin County (north of San Francisco) and has proudly served the community since 1998. It has grown to become one of the largest emergency and specialty hospitals in the Bay Area, offering comprehensive specialty services and 24/7 emergency services.

In 2025, we moved into an expansive facility, custom-designed for our needs. Our state-of-the-art facility has 15 exam rooms, 16 treatment tables, a large central ICU, 5 fully equipped surgery suites, Hallmarq MRI, 128 Slice CT Scanner, Fluoroscopy, two digital radiology units with horizontal beam capabilities, dedicated rooms for Endoscopy and Ultrasound, and staff wellness, all designed from a Fear Free perspective. Our team consists of 15+ experienced Emergency doctors (many with 10+ years of experience), 3 Criticalists, 4 Internists, 3 Surgeons, 2 Radiologists, 2 Neurologists, 2 Cardiologists, 2 Oncologists, 2 Ophthalmologists, and an Anesthesiologist. In addition to a regular stream of vet student externs, we also host a class of 4 rotating interns with associated didactics that are open to the whole hospital.

Our culture is collegial, collaborative, respectful, and fun, with many of our emergency doctors, specialists, and support staff having been with PESCM for several years.

The Opportunity

As our Veterinary Dental Specialist, you'll have the autonomy and support to build a legacy, grow a premier dental service, and make a lasting impact on patients and clients, while benefiting from an established referral network, strong hospital reputation, and a culture that values innovation, teamwork, and mentorship.

You will collaborate regularly with specialists in:

Anesthesia

Oncology

Cardiology

Neurology

Surgery

Ophthalmology

Internal Medicine

Emergency & Critical Care

Competitive Compensation

Base salary: $275,000–$300,000, depending on experience

Additional production-based compensation
