We are seeking a seasoned Veterinary Practice Manager to lead the reopening of GoodNeighbor Vista Boulevard Animal Hospital (previously Sage Veterinary Care). This is a unique opportunity to build a team, shape hospital culture, and play a key leadership role from day one.

The Practice Manager will play a key role in preparing the hospital for reopening, recruiting and developing a strong team, and ensuring the hospital operates smoothly while delivering exceptional care to pets and their families.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Hospital Reopening

• •Partner with leadership and the Medical Director to prepare the hospital for a successful reopening
• •Help rebuild a strong, collaborative team culture
• •Establish workflows, processes, and operational standards

Team Leadership & Development

• •Recruit, hire, and onboard veterinary support staff
• •Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability for the team
• •Foster a positive, supportive, and high-performing work environment

Hospital Operations & Performance

• •Oversee daily hospital operations and ensure efficient workflows
• •Monitor key performance metrics and help drive hospital growth
• •Manage scheduling, staffing, and operational priorities

Financial & Inventory Management

• •Manage hospital budgets and expenses, including inventory and labor
• •Ensure effective inventory management and supply ordering
• •Partner with leadership to support the hospital’s financial success

Client Experience

• •Promote an exceptional client experience and high-quality patient care
• •Support the team in handling client concerns and creating lasting relationships with pet owners

What We’re Looking For

• •1-2+ years of veterinary practice management experience required
• •Proven experience leading teams and managing hospital operations
• •Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• •Experience managing budgets, inventory, and operational performance
• •A proactive leader who thrives in building systems and teams
• •Experience helping open or relaunch a veterinary hospital is a plus.
