the posting
We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon with a strong interest in surgery to join our established team at Medivet Standish.
Standish is a modern, purpose built practice with excellent facilities and a varied surgical caseload. You’ll work alongside a Surgical Certificate Holder, providing a great environment to develop your surgical skills and experience.
The practice undertakes a range of more advanced procedures, including orthopaedic surgery, TPLOs, fracture repairs and advanced soft tissue surgery, and also benefits from laparoscopic surgery facilities. We would particularly welcome a vet who is keen to develop their surgical interests, with the potential for further study and certificate support.
You’ll be joining a friendly, well established team of veterinary professionals, including experienced Veterinary Nurses, Client Care Assistants and Receptionists, all working together to provide a high standard of patient and client care.
Standish is a lovely and well connected town with a great community feel. Situated close to the M6 corridor, it offers convenient links to Manchester and Preston, as well as easy access north towards Lancashire and Cumbria.
