Our client is the Commercial Real Estate Finance group within the investment bank of a premier European-based global financial services located in New York City. Their real estate group is consistently ranked among the top-10 global and US real estate lenders, and they consistently look to grow their platform and expand into new product

• POSITION OVERVIEW:
• We are looking for a Vice President to support a leading originator and their team in screening, sizing, structuring, underwriting and documentation of potential CMBS Conduit CRE loan opportunities for diverse asset classes across the U.S. In this role, you will be responsible for completing the full loan due diligence and assisting with the preparation of Asset Summary Reports required for securitization. Given our client's unique culture and structure, candidates will be exposed to the full breadth of conduit loan originations, pricing, capital markets and other activities in commercial real estate lending and securitization

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Provide analytical support in the screening, sizing, structuring, underwriting and closing of commercial real estate loans

Work closely with more senior underwriters in the preparation of credit committee reports with cash flow, risks and strengths, borrower / sponsor, and market analysis

Perform site inspections, determine appropriate market comparables for property valuation and asset summary report, and complete tenant analyses

Review third party reports, property leases, and financial statements as part of the due diligence process

Assist with loan closings and procure needed closing items

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

7+ years’ experience in CMBS loan underwriting or similar role

Advanced proficiency in Excel®, Word®, PowerPoint®, and Argus®. Prior Excel® financial modelling experience required

Excellent communication skills, willingness to work as part of a larger team

Highly developed organizational and project/time-management skills

A demonstrable ability to work effectively with team members in diverse groups and regions

Solid work ethic, motivation level, and strong attention to detail

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$250,000.00 - $275,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
