Vice President, Equity & Crypto Derivatives Solutions, Global Financial Markets

Role Overview

The Vice President, Equity & Crypto Derivatives Solutions is responsible for driving the growth, profitability, and strategic development of the Equity and Crypto Derivatives business across the wealth management franchise. The role serves as a key partner to Relationship Managers, Investment Counsellors, Product Managers, and Global Financial Markets stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of innovative structured investment solutions that meet client needs while achieving business objectives.

The incumbent will provide leadership in product strategy, franchise development, client engagement, and digital transformation initiatives, while maintaining strong governance and oversight across the end-to-end product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Franchise Development

• •Drive the growth and profitability of the Equity and Crypto Derivatives business, with accountability for revenue delivery and budget achievement across the wealth management franchise.
• •Lead franchise-building initiatives across Private Banking, Treasures Private Client, and Treasures segments by identifying new opportunities, client needs, and market trends.
• •Develop and execute strategies to increase client penetration, enhance product adoption, and expand the structured products business.

Product Strategy & Advisory

• •Generate, structure, and present differentiated Equity and Crypto Derivatives investment ideas aligned with client objectives, market themes, and house views.
• •Provide strategic advisory support to Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors on structured investment solutions and portfolio implementation.
• •Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop innovative products and enhance existing offerings to strengthen the bank's competitive positioning.

End-to-End Product Management

• •Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of structured products, including product ideation, pricing, execution, order management, post-trade support, and client servicing.
• •Ensure operational excellence and seamless execution across sales, trading, operations, legal, compliance, and risk management functions.
• •Monitor product performance and client outcomes to continuously improve product offerings and processes.

Market Intelligence & Risk Awareness

• •Maintain deep expertise in Equity and Crypto Derivatives markets, regulatory developments, and industry trends.
• •Proactively identify market opportunities and emerging themes to support business growth and client engagement.
• •Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

• •Establish strong partnerships with Relationship Managers, Investment Counsellors, Product Managers, Global Financial Markets teams, and other key stakeholders.
• •Act as a trusted subject matter expert and key point of contact for Equity and Crypto Derivatives solutions within the organization.
• •Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture across business and support functions.

Digital Transformation & Innovation

• •Champion digitalisation initiatives to enhance client experience, operational efficiency, scalability, and business productivity.
• •Leverage data analytics, automation, and digital capabilities to improve client journeys and strengthen business outcomes.
• •Identify and implement technology-driven solutions that support franchise growth and operational effectiveness.

Training & Thought Leadership

• •Lead product education and capability-building initiatives for Relationship Managers, Investment Counsellors, and other stakeholders.
• •Deliver market updates, product insights, and investment themes through presentations, workshops, and client engagement activities.
• •Develop high-quality management information reports, presentations, marketing materials, and term sheets to support business objectives

• Requirements • At least 5-7 years Equity & Crypto Derivative sales experience in Global Markets/Private Banking setup.
• •Extensive knowledge of Equity Derivatives, Structured Products, and Crypto Derivatives solutions,
• •Proven ability to originate, structure, and present investment solutions aligned with wealth clients needs and market opportunities.
• •Deep understanding of the end-to-end structured product lifecycle, including sales, execution, operations, and post-trade management.
• •Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
• •Excellent stakeholder management, relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
• •Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
