About the role and Team
Crunchyroll’s Finance Organization consists of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, and Procurement team members based across multiple global locations. The FP&A team is seeking a high-visibility Finance leader, reporting to the FP&A Senior Vice President, operating at the heart of our organization, leading the budgeting, forecasting, and actual analysis for our Go-To-Market (GTM) teams.
You will partner with the Chief Operating Officer and senior business leaders to translate strategy into financial priorities and actionable business decisions. You will lead a team supporting GTM teams and collaborates with global FP&A Planning and analytical resources for forecasting, financial modeling, reporting, and advanced analytics.
The role combines strong commercial acumen with executive-level business partnership and leadership to ensure financial discipline while enabling continued subscriber and revenue growth. The role demands exceptional communication and analytical skills, and may require occasional travel domestically.
A day in the life:
Executive Leadership and COO Partnership
Serve as the Finance business partner to the COO and a key member of the Finance leadership team.
Advise the COO on regional GTM strategy, commercial performance, investment priorities, organizational capacity, and financial trade-offs.
Participate in senior leadership and commercial operating reviews, representing the financial perspective across the regional GTM organization.
Translate company strategy into clear financial priorities, targets, and decision frameworks.
Build the Regional GTM Finance Organization
Collaborate with Finance and Accounting leadership to recruit, onboard, coach, and develop Finance partners for their corresponding regional GTM General Managers and teams.
Establish clear reporting lines, decision rights, escalation paths, and collaboration models across regional Finance, global FP&A, Accounting, Data, and other Finance teams.
Create a scalable operating model that combines consistent global standards with appropriate regional ownership and accountability.
Develop succession plans and a strong leadership pipeline for the regional GTM Finance organization.
Regional Business Partnership
Ensure each regional General Manager and team receives high-quality Finance support covering strategy, planning, performance management, and investment decisions.
Partner with regional leadership to establish market-level subscriber, revenue, marketing, and profitability objectives.
Support regional teams in translating commercial strategies into actionable financial plans and measurable operating targets.
Identify differences in regional market maturity, consumer behavior, competitive dynamics, and growth potential, and reflect these appropriately in financial plans.
Facilitate alignment between regional priorities and Crunchyroll’s overall global strategy and financial objectives.
Commercial Planning and Performance
Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the regional GTM organization.
Oversee regional financial and operational performance reviews, including subscriber acquisition, engagement, retention, revenue, marketing investment, and contribution margin.
Establish consistent performance metrics, analytical standards, and management reporting.
Identify emerging risks and opportunities and recommend timely actions to improve financial and commercial outcomes.
Ensure regional forecasts are supported by clear operational drivers, market assumptions, sensitivities, and accountability for delivery.
Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, analytical insight, and management decision support.
Finance Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a key leader within the broader Finance organization, contributing to Finance strategy, talent development, transformation, and operating priorities.
Partner closely with global FP&A Planning and Analytics teams to align regional forecasts, reporting, scenarios, and long-range plans.
Work in partnership with Accounting to ensure accurate actuals, appropriate accruals, clear variance explanations, and effective financial controls.
Collaborate with Marketing, Membership, Product, Data, Strategy, and other teams to connect financial performance with underlying commercial drivers.
Promote consistent data definitions, reporting standards, planning assumptions, and performance-management practices across regions.
Support the development of scalable financial tools, dashboards, and advanced analytical capabilities for the GTM organization.
Executive Communications
Present financial performance, outlooks, recommendations, risks, and opportunities to executives.
Develop clear narratives that connect regional operating performance with Crunchyroll’s global financial results and strategic priorities.
Communicate complex financial and commercial concepts clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.
Ensure regional General Managers and Finance partners are prepared to communicate performance, outlook, and proposed actions with consistency and credibility.
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop the regional Finance partners, establishing clear expectations for strategic partnership, analytical quality, operational execution, and leadership.
Create a collaborative team culture that encourages accountability, transparency, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
Set priorities across the regional Finance organization and ensure resources are deployed against the most important commercial and financial opportunities.
Build strong connectivity between the regional Finance partners and the broader global FP&A and Accounting organizations.
Provide visible leadership during periods of organizational change, evolving business priorities, and rapid growth.
Establish the regional GTM Finance team as a trusted, proactive, and commercially focused partner to the business.

About You
The Vice President, FP&A - GTM is a senior leader within Crunchyroll’s Finance organization and the business partner to the Chief Operating Officer, who oversees Crunchyroll’s regional go-to-market organization. You will provide strategic financial leadership across Crunchyroll’s global commercial operations, helping translate company strategy into regional growth priorities, investment decisions, and measurable financial outcomes.
This role requires an experienced Finance leader who can operate as a strategic advisor to senior leadership while also building a high-performing global team. You will balance growth and financial discipline, challenge assumptions constructively, and ensure that subscriber, revenue, marketing, and profitability decisions are supported by clear financial analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
15+ years of progressive Finance and FP&A experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
Proven experience serving as a primary Finance business partner to C-suite executives.
Demonstrated success building, scaling, and leading high-performing Finance teams.
