POSITION SUMMARY:

The Vice President of Global PR will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our PR Strategy to elevate our brand perception and strengthen our relationships within the fashion industry. This will include supporting the relaunch of our collection line and runway show, as well as directing the development and implementation of public relations programs and cross-function of all PR activities for our diverse product categories. This strategic role involves overseeing PR and influencer marketing to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. You will help shape the public’s perception of our company by driving and supporting the building of our global PR strategy with a focus on storytelling in earned media. The role demands a creative leader with a deep understanding of the fashion landscape, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including media, influencers, and fashion editors. We seek a self-starter who is motivated to drive change and create impact.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive global PR strategies that align with the brand vision for Collection, with a focus on the new Creative Director and Collection line.
  • Lead the creation, planning, and execution of PR initiatives that align with the company’s values and goals, overseeing coordination with licensees and PR agencies.
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of Collection and fashion shows.
  • Oversee the strategic planning of influencer marketing programs to build brand advocacy and reach new audiences.
  • Build and nurture senior-level relationships with top-tier media, fashion editors, influencers, and industry leaders to elevate brand visibility, credibility, and strategic positioning.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging and strategic alignment across all objectives, while continuously refining workflows and processes to drive cross-departmental collaboration and operational excellence.
  • Handle and facilitate press and licensee requests for press materials, serving as the key point of contact for communications strategies in all global markets for all product categories.
  • Provide strategic oversight of future PR development in North America, Asia, and Europe, serving as the key point of contact for communications strategies in all global markets for all product categories.
  • Oversee the ongoing reporting, tracking, monitoring, and analysis of PR initiatives and media coverage for effectiveness, driving these initiatives in relevant markets when agencies are unavailable.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for enhancing PR initiatives.
  • Support crisis communication efforts, ensuring the company's reputation is protected and messaging is consistent during challenging situations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of experience in PR with a substantial focus on the fashion industry and brand management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the industry.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Proven track record of relationship management at a senior level.

  • Experience managing budgets and analyzing campaign performance.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and lead cross-functionally.

  • Self-starter with a proven ability to drive change and create impact.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Internal: Regional & Divisional Presidents, Regional PR & Marketing Directors, Global Integrated Marketing, Global Creative Services, Fashion Office, Design Teams, Product Team. Social Media, Brand Experience, Corporate Communications, Entertainment Relations

External: Press, Editors, Stylists, Celebrities, Influencers, PR Agencies

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct: Sr. Director of PR and Influencer

Indirect: PR Managers, PR Coordinators, PR Assistants

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Works directly with the SVP, Brand Communications, and Culture on all matters involving the budget.

DECISION MAKING: Makes critical decisions regarding our PR and Brand Experience Strategy

RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY: Must be able to influence and be a keen negotiator to achieve global alignment to communications strategies while understanding regional nuances. Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines. Must be detail-oriented and find the best solutions and develop methods to improve efficiency. Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and/or ad hoc projects.

ENVIRONMENT: Fast paced creative environment. Works directly with global regions to ensure the efficient function of line selection.

Pay Range:$225,000 - $275,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible. This role is equity eligible.
