Company Overview

Nan Fung Group was founded in 1954 and has a track record spanning over 50 years with over 165 projects including residential, commercial and industrial buildings. The Group also strategically focuses on first-tier cities in Mainland China and recognises attractive opportunities for development and investment overseas, including New York and London.

At Nan Fung, we believe that our people are the foundation of our success. When you join us, you will become part of a tightly-knitted workplace that elevates lives through innovation and sustainable projects. We work as a team and will help you build a meaningful career.

We are hiring an experienced professional to drive our US investment efforts! Join us if you're ready to embrace new challenges!

Responsibilities

Platform Management & Asset Oversight

Support and coordinate all aspects of the US real estate platform across the full investment lifecycle — including asset management, leasing strategy, development management, capital expenditure planning, and property-level performance — working in close collaboration with the on-the-ground US team.

Collaborate with and guide the US team on leasing strategy and tenant positioning, with a focus on new economy occupiers including life science, lab, AI, and technology tenants; leverage data analytics and market intelligence to inform leasing decisions and tenant targeting.

Support business plan reviews, hold/sell analysis, and value-enhancement initiatives; work with the US team to develop recommendations on refinancings or divestments as appropriate.

Oversee property and departmental budgets, contracts, and financial controls in conjunction with the US team, ensuring strong governance standards.

Drive AI integration initiatives and workflow process re-engineering across the platform, identifying opportunities to develop a competitive edge in decision-making, operational efficiency, and investment performance.

Headquarters Coordination & Reporting

Serve as the primary interface between the US platform and Hong Kong headquarters, ensuring alignment on investment strategy, portfolio priorities, and execution; actively leverage HQ resources, capabilities, and broader firm initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the overseas platform.

Prepare and deliver regular portfolio-level reporting to senior management, covering investment performance, key risks and opportunities, and business plan updates.

Demonstrate strong senior stakeholder management skills, with the credibility and presence to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation.

Foster a cohesive and collaborative working culture between the Hong Kong and overseas teams, building strong cross-regional relationships that underpin effective platform execution.

Deal Execution & Market Intelligence

Support selective deal execution including disposals, financing transactions, and portfolio-level initiatives; coordinate due diligence processes — financial, legal, tax, technical, and commercial — in conjunction with internal teams and external advisors.

Contribute to underwriting and financial modelling in support of investment decisions and portfolio repositioning.

Conduct ongoing research on US market trends, capital markets conditions, and government policy developments; translate insights into actionable recommendations for leasing, investment, and capital allocation strategy.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related discipline.

A minimum of 8 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, or a closely related field within an institutional environment.

Demonstrated experience across the real estate investment lifecycle, including underwriting, asset management, leasing, and transactions.

International investment experience is preferred; prior exposure to US commercial real estate is an advantage.

Familiarity with life science, lab, or innovation-district real estate products is highly valued.

Proven experience engaging with and presenting to senior stakeholders.

Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.

Exceptional financial modelling skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Cantonese is advantageous for internal collaboration.

Strong analytical, commercial, and interpersonal skills; highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple workstreams across regions and disciplines with a high degree of autonomy.

Growth mindset, intellectual curiosity, and tenacity — comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking ownership in a dynamic, lean platform environment.

Personally engaged with AI developments; proactive in integrating emerging tools and workflows into day-to-day investment and asset management practice.

Candidates with more experiences will be considered as Senior Vice President
