Warehouse Associate - (Food Distribution, Cold Chain)

Description

Shifts Available:

• •Shift 1 (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
• •Shift 2 (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday)

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, fulfillment, and shipment of products while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• •Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments
• •Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer and internal orders
• •Load and unload with manual or delivery trucks using equipment
• •Maintain organized and clearly labeled inventory storage areas
• •Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies
• •Follow established safety protocols and warehouse procedures
• •Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks
• •Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and free of hazards
• •Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by the Warehouse Manager

Working Conditions:

• •Climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled warehouse environments.
• •Exposure to noise, dust, and moving machinery.

Requirements

• •High school diploma or GED required
• •Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required
• •Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
• •Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking
• •Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• •Reliable attendance and punctuality
• •Forklift certification is a plus (training may be provided).
• •Previous experience in cold, freezing, or hot warehouse temperatures. (Preferred but not required).
