Warehouse Clerk

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is primarily responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within establishments.

Essential Function Statement(s)

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, and ship).

Receive and process warehouse stock products.

Mark materials with identifying information

Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.

Sweep, dust, and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times

Follows all company SOPs and GMPs

Fills out any log sheets or logbooks as required by SOP’s

Reports any safety hazards to Supervisor or Maintenance.

Performs any other duties assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

At least high school diploma

Experience:

2+ years of experience in the pharmaceuticals industry is preferable.

Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach

Ability to read and write English

Ability to understand and follow all company SOPs and GMP guidelines

Basic math skills (multiplication, division, and understanding weights and measures).

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Forklift certified (standing and sitting)
