We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager who can lead a team, maintain an organized and efficient operation, and make sure our customers receive the right parts when they need them.
This is a working leadership position. We need someone who is comfortable being on the warehouse floor, solving problems, coaching employees, and taking ownership of the day-to-day operation.
The right person will be organized, dependable, safety-minded, and able to keep the warehouse moving when priorities and workloads change throughout the day.
What You’ll Do
As Warehouse Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall performance of the warehouse, including receiving, inventory control, order picking, shipping, and supporting our delivery operation.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates while creating a positive, accountable, and productive work environment.
- Plan daily workloads, schedules, and staffing to meet customer needs and changing business demands.
- Direct and supervise warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, order picking, staging, shipping, inventory control, and delivery preparation.
- Oversee the receipt of incoming freight, ensuring shipments are received promptly, checked for accuracy and damage, and properly entered and put away.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing documents, and make sure shortages, overages, damages, or other discrepancies are identified and addressed.
- Ensure outgoing customer orders are pulled accurately, including verifying the correct part numbers and quantities before orders are staged for delivery, transfer, or customer pickup.
- Establish processes and accountability to reduce picking errors, shipping mistakes, lost inventory, and customer returns caused by warehouse errors.
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, proper receiving practices, bin maintenance, and inventory-control procedures.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse that makes products easy to locate and helps employees work safely and productively.
- Monitor warehouse productivity and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and workflow.
- Ensure associates follow company safety policies, procedures, and proper material-handling practices.
- Investigate and report safety incidents, accidents, and violations promptly and accurately.
- Interview, hire, onboard, train, and develop warehouse associates.
- Identify performance issues and work with employees to establish clear expectations and corrective actions when necessary.
- Work closely with branch leadership, counter sales, purchasing, and delivery teams to resolve issues and provide a high level of customer service.
- Review operational data and reports to identify problems, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend and implement process improvements that increase productivity, inventory accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the operation.
What We’re Looking For

The right candidate will have:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, train, and hold employees accountable.
- A hands-on management style and willingness to work alongside the team when needed.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially when it comes to receiving, inventory, and order accuracy.
- The ability to prioritize work and adjust quickly when customer needs or workloads change.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- The ability to analyze operational information and identify areas for improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A customer-focused mindset and an understanding of how warehouse performance directly affects the customer experience.
- Experience working with warehouse, inventory, or ERP systems preferred.
- Forklift and material-handling experience preferred.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of warehouse experience in the heavy-duty parts, automotive aftermarket, distribution, or a similar environment.
- Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Heavy-duty truck, trailer, automotive, or equipment parts experience is highly valued.
Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on warehouse leadership position.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds as needed.
- Ability to move loads of up to 300 pounds using appropriate equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, barrel dollies, or hydraulic lifts.
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, and crouching.
- Ability to safely operate or work around warehouse and material-handling equipment.
- Ability to use computers and warehouse systems for receiving, inventory management, reporting, and other daily responsibilities.
