Position Overview:

Quality Roofing Solutions is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily warehouse operations, including loading and unloading roofing materials, organizing inventory, preparing materials for deliveries, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position plays an important role in supporting efficient warehouse operations and ensuring materials are properly handled and readily available for roofing projects.

Responsibilities:

Loading and Unloading Materials:

• •Load and unload roofing materials, supplies, and equipment from delivery trucks.
• •Safely lift, carry, and move materials throughout the warehouse and storage areas.
• •Assist with staging and preparing materials for deliveries and upcoming roofing projects.
• •Ensure materials are handled properly to prevent damage or loss.

Warehouse Organization:

• •Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• •Properly store and arrange roofing materials, tools, and equipment in designated areas.
• •Assist with organizing inventory to ensure materials are easily accessible.
• •Keep warehouse aisles, loading areas, and workspaces clear of debris and potential hazards.

Material Receiving and Inventory:

• •Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming material deliveries.
• •Verify materials against delivery documentation and report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• •Assist with inventory counts and tracking materials as needed.
• •Communicate material needs or concerns to warehouse management.

Safety and General Warehouse Operations:

• •Follow all company safety policies and proper material-handling procedures.
• •Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing assigned duties.
• •Assist team members with daily warehouse tasks to support efficient operations.
• •Properly use and maintain warehouse tools and equipment in accordance with training and company policies.
• •Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• •Previous warehouse, construction, or material-handling experience preferred but not required.
• •Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• •Strong organizational skills and attention to safety.
• •Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with team members.
• •Reliable attendance and a willingness to learn.
• •Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• •Sitting, standing and walking, which may be for extended periods of time
• •Lifting and carrying, up to 75-100 lbs
• •Pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead
• •Manipulation of objects and materials, including holding, grasping, turning, and touching
• •Keyboarding
• •Driving
• •Stooping, crouching, kneeling
• •Climbing ladders, stairs, or scaffolding
• •Hearing, in-person and through the telephone or electronic device (such as a tablet)
• •Visual acuity, both near (i.e. clarity of vision of approximately 20 inches or less) and far (i.e. clarity of vision of approximately 20 feet or more)

Working Hours: Generally, Monday through Friday, 7am until 5pm, with occasional overtime or schedule adjustments based on operational needs.
