As a Warehouse Operative based in Darlington , you’ll be responsible for:

Ensuring that all incoming deliveries comply with the delivery paperwork and handle any discrepancies appropriately and put away in a timely manner
Pick items to fulfil customer orders and prepare for despatch as per customer requirements
Liaise with drivers to load vehicle effectively and in accordance with run sheet
Check picked orders prior to collection or dispatch
Driving a Forklift Truck
Comply with Company and Depot policies, particularly Health and Safety to ensure a safe working environment
Maintain good housekeeping practices

This is a full-time, permanent role working 37.50 hours per week Monday to Friday 08.00am - 4.00pm.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

Prior warehouse experience
Forklift Truck experience is ideal
The ability to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines
To be a team player who is happy to take on a diverse role to carry out all jobs required to ensure the warehouse runs smoothly
Keenness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
