Warehouse Supervisor

• Essential duties and Responsibilities:
• •Manage activities associated with inbound and outbound warehouse operations
• •Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements
• •Optimize employee workflow and make suggestions for productivity improvements
• •Ensure reduction of financial loss related to damaged products
• •Analyze shipment logs and review timelines of scheduled deliveries
• •Move inventory around by scheduling materials to be moved to-and-from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments
• •Review and edit payroll and commission reports, submit reports for payment
• •Opens and closes the shift
• •Train, guide, and evaluate new warehouse workers periodically
• •Ensure that facility vehicles and equipment are properly maintained
• •Determine and track most important KPIs
• •Maintain storage area clean by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommends improvements when needed
• •Deliver supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items
• •Accomplish warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed

• Qualifications and Requirements:
• •Bachelor’s or an associate degree in administration, retail, merchandising, supply chain or any related field of study preferred. The equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
• •Forklift and OSHA certified preferred
• •Experience of 2 to 3 years in warehousing or supply chain management
• •Exceptional leadership skills and directing abilities
• •Strong interpersonal, motivational capabilities, and communication skills
• •Understanding of all safety and legal procedures for handling and receiving goods
• •Ability to effectively manage time and meet all necessary deadlines
• •Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with internal and external workers of the company
• •Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
