Warranty Cancelation-Reserves Automotive Dealership

Description

Five Star Chevrolet is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Warranty Cancellation & Reserve Specialist to join our dealership team. This position plays an important role in processing warranty and vehicle service contract cancellations, tracking refunds, maintaining accurate records, and supporting our F&I and Accounting departments.

Responsibilities

• •Process warranty and vehicle service contract cancellations.
• •Review contracts and cancellation requests for accuracy and completeness.
• •Submit cancellation requests to warranty and service contract providers.
• •Track cancellations and customer refunds from submission through completion.
• •Follow up on outstanding refunds and resolve discrepancies.
• •Maintain accurate records of cancellations, refunds, and reserve balances.
• •Reconcile warranty and service contract accounts.
• •Assist with month-end accounting and reserve reconciliation.
• •Work closely with F&I, Accounting, Sales, and Service departments.
• •Communicate professionally with customers regarding cancellation and refund status.
• •Research and resolve discrepancies in dealership and provider records.
• •Maintain organized customer and dealership documentation.
• •Ensure all cancellation paperwork meets dealership and provider requirements.

Requirements

• •Previous automotive dealership experience preferred.
• •Experience with F&I, warranty cancellations, service contracts, or automotive accounting is a plus.
• •Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• •Excellent organization and follow-up skills.
• •Strong communication and customer service skills.
• •Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• •CDK or dealership management system experience preferred.
• •Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
• •Valid Driver's License and Insurable.
• •Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
