Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Water Resources (H&H) Civil Engineering Intern to join our Austin, TX office.

Your Role

· Support hydrology and hydraulics engineering projects through data collection, analysis, and technical documentation.

· Compile hydrologic and hydraulic data and assist with calculations, reports, and project deliverables.

· Participate in site visits and field activities to gain practical engineering experience.

· Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary project teams to support project delivery.

· Assist with project coordination and documentation in accordance with established procedures and requirements.

· Utilize Microsoft Office and other technical software to support engineering activities.

· Develop practical knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics while gaining exposure to real-world civil engineering projects.

About You

• •EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required with the applicable high school courses or equivalent training, or if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
• •EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• •SPECIAL SKILLS: Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn; Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases; Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation (preferred); Experience with ESRI GIS applications.

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
