Are you passionate about web development, digital products, and the space sector? Would you like to expand your technical expertise while contributing to an innovative and rapidly evolving industry?

Joining Novaspace means becoming part of a fast-growing international consulting group specializing in the space sector. Novaspace is currently hiring a Web Engineer to support the development and continuous improvement of its digital platforms, websites, and web-based products.

As part of the Digital and Data team, the Web Engineer will contribute to Novaspace’s digital activities by developing and maintaining WordPress and WooCommerce websites, custom PHP solutions, React interfaces, and API integrations.

Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress and WooCommerce websites

Build custom PHP features, themes, plugins, and backend functionality

Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

Integrate third-party services, payment solutions, and internal systems through APIs

Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve website performance, security, reliability, and cross-browser compatibility

Collaborate with the Digital and Data team, designers, and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions

Test, document, deploy, and maintain web solutions while ensuring code quality and timely delivery

Desired Skills and Experience

3–5 years of professional experience in full-stack web development

Strong experience in WordPress development, including custom themes, plugins, and website maintenance

Proven experience developing and customizing WooCommerce websites and e-commerce functionality

Strong knowledge of PHP and experience developing custom PHP solutions

Experience building responsive web interfaces using React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and third-party services

Good knowledge of MySQL or another relational database

Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows

Understanding of web security, performance optimization, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility

Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Ability to manage priorities, work independently, and deliver projects within agreed deadlines

Additional assets

Experience with website hosting, deployment, migration, and server environments

Familiarity with search engine optimization and web accessibility best practice

Experience working in an Agile or project-based development environment

Interest in the space sector, data-driven products, or digital consulting
