Welder

Key Responsibilities

Perform TIG level welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols

Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components to specification

Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding

Inspect completed welds to ensure structural integrity and quality standards

Maintain welding equipment and shop tools

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Collaborate with the fabrication team and supervisors to meet production deadlines

Qualifications

5+ years of welding experience in a fabrication environment preferred

Ability to read blueprints and understand weld symbols

Experience with MIG welding required; TIG experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid driver’s license preferred

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods

Lift up to 50 pounds regularly

Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching

Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment

Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday

Day shift (overtime available based on workload)
